These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your use of the Insurant platform and the services made available through it. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Who we are
This platform is operated by Insurant Pty Ltd (ACN 700 509 931) (Insurant, we, us or our). Insurant arranges and distributes insurance and related products on behalf of the relevant product issuers.
2. Our role
Insurant provides general information and facilitates access to products issued by third-party providers. Insurant is not the issuer or underwriter of those products. Each product is issued by the relevant provider and is governed by that provider’s own terms, product disclosure documents and policies.
Any advice provided through this website is general in nature only and does not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation or needs. You should consider whether a product is appropriate for you and review the relevant provider’s product documents before making a decision.
Insurant may receive a referral fee, commission or other remuneration when you purchase a product through this website.
3. Products and providers
Products available through this website are issued by third-party providers, including:
- Home & Contents insurance — issued and underwritten by QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited (ABN 78 003 191 035, AFSL 239545). See the QBE product disclosure documents.
The terms, pricing, eligibility, availability and product documents for each product are determined by the relevant provider and may change. Where a product is purchased, the contract for that product is between you and the provider, and the provider’s terms govern that product.
4. Eligibility
To use this website and purchase products, you must be at least 18 years of age, located in Australia, and able to enter into a legally binding agreement. Products may only be available to residents of certain states or territories, as determined by the relevant provider.
5. Your account and information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide to us and to providers. Quotes, pricing and eligibility rely on the information you supply. Providing inaccurate or incomplete information may affect a quote, a product or a claim. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- interfere with or disrupt the website, its security or its underlying infrastructure;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or related systems;

To the extent permitted by law, Insurant does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that the information on it is complete or current. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Insurant is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on information on it. Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this page with the date it was last updated. Your continued use of the website after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which Insurant is based. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place.
